§ 17-97. Penalties and enforcement.

  • The county shall have the power to sue in civil court to enforce the provisions of this article or to collect from any feepayer the sums due under this article. Any fee not paid when due shall become a lien in favor of the county upon the property with respect to which the fee accrued, and may be foreclosed by the method provided for foreclosure of special assessment liens. In any such foreclosure, the county shall be entitled to recover its costs and attorneys' fees therefor, which shall be further secured by such lien.
